ABOUT CMA US
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is the globally recognized, advanced-level credential appropriate for accountants and financials in business - – today and tomorrow.
It is an advanced professional certification specifically designed to measure the critical accounting and financial management skills that are of extreme relevance to candidate and corporate advancements in today’s business environment.
Achieving the CMA credential demonstrates the candidate’s mastery of financial planning, analysis, control, decision support, and professional ethics.
2. Two years of relevant experience.
Note: Undergraduate and fresher can write the exam and can submit graduation certificate + 2 years’ of work experience with in 7 years to get the CMA Degree.
Candidates for CMA certification must pass the following two examination:
Part 1: Financial Reporting, Planning, Performance, and Control.

- Internal Controls
Part 2: Financial Decision Making.
- Financial Statement Analysis

Each exam part will consist of 100 multiple choice questions and 2 essay questions. The candidate will have 3 hours to complete the multiple choice section and one hour to complete the essays.
The essays will be presented after the candidates complete the multiple choice section of the exam or after 3 hours, whichever comes first. Once the candidate completes and exits the multiple choice section of the exam, he/she cannot go back.
The candidate must remain in the essay section to complete the exam.
The candidate must answer at least 50% of the multiple-choice questions correctly to be eligible to take the essay section.
The exam can be taken from any Prometric centre, exams are offered in the following 3 testing windows:

* September and October

CA/ICWA : Looking at the trend the best finance course, due to its vast topic passing percentage very low (3-4%).
MBA :
- It’s saturated in the market now.
- Every other student opt for it.
- Only recognized when it's done from Top 10 institutes .
CMA US :
Best course for B.Com/BBA/M.Com/MBA students.
- Only 2 Paper with relaxed exam pattern.
- It can be completed along with their normal Graduation to start a good career. Equivalent to ICWA in India.
- Less Expensive.
- Best suited for working professional along with their job & family, just need 2 hours systematic study.
FAQs
Answer : CMA US has 2 Papers, and in idle scenario it takes 6 months for both the papers to complete.
However looking at past trends in reality it will take around 9-12 months for Working Professionals & for Students it will be 15-18 months.
Please be noted that syllabus are same but there will be difference in understanding level for students and working professionals
Answer : To become CMA US you need to be Graduate with 2 years of work experience.
Students can also write the exam as IMA gives 7 years of time to submit the work experience and collect your degree.
Answer : We have both live interactive online and offline classes available, we recommend going for online classes as there won’t be any difference.
Answer :The agreed fee can be paid in multiple phases/instalments during the course duration.
Answer : Though it’s a US Certification but it is world recognised and lot of job opportunities are available across the globe including Singapore, Middle East, Canada, US and India.
In India - CMA US is equivalent to ICWA.
